If I Were a Lizard
If I were a lizard I would not be a feminist. I would not attend protest marches because lizards are incapable of marching and also too small. I would not read Sylvia Plath either. I would read the first line “it was a queer sultry summer” but I would not be able to find out what happens next because lizards cannot turn pages. If I were a lizard, I would not care about freeing the nipple because lizards do not wear clothes. Maybe lizards already freed their nipples, and we’re the ones who are behind.
